SAMBA MASTER CLASS

SUNDAY, AUGUST 21ST. 4:00PM – 5:15PM.

The international Ballroom version of Samba is a lively, rhythmical dance with elements from Brazilian samba. Join International 10-dance instructor Christine Hipsky for an intensive workshop focusing on the technique and style, musicality and rhythm of this fast-moving dance.

Workshop will be challenging and geared towards intermediate/advanced dancers who have done some Latin dancing before. You do not need to have specific experience doing Samba, however.
All levels are always welcome and beginners can challenge themselves!

No partner is necessary. $15 per person.

CHILDREN’S BALLROOM DANCE SUMMER CAMP!

Ballroom dancing is an excellent way for your child to build balance, flexibility, posture, rhythm, stamina, strength, confidence and social skills. 
These are building blocks they will stand on for the rest of their lives. New students are welcome!

$150 per child. For siblings, first child is $150 and additional children are $75 each.

NO PARTNER IS NECESSARY. 
NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY. 
Children will learn the fundamentals of ballroom dance and put together a show for family and friends to attend on Friday. Ages 6 – 18, for boys and girls. 

Parents are welcome to stay and observe in our lounge, or you may drop your children off.

SOCIAL DANCE PARTY FRIDAY NIGHTS

Please note there will be no dance on Friday March 6th due to the Heritage Competition in Asheville.

Class at 8:00pm, social from 9:00pm – 11:00pm. Next parties will be March 13th.

Only $10/person for both the class & party!

Friday night All Levels Group Class at 8:00pm, followed by a Social Dance Party, will occur EVERY FIRST AND SECOND Friday of the Month.
 
This is open to the public and you do not have to be a student at the studio. No partner necessary, no experience necessary.
 
Practice your moves, learn some new ones, enjoy great company! Live DJ plays a variety of music from Waltz to Swing to Tango, Line Dances, Cha Cha, Salsa, Merengue, you name it. Always a blast and great crowd of people.

LADIES LATIN STYLING CLASS, WINE, AND DRESS CONSIGNMENT!

Ladies get ready for a special event just for you the last Sunday in May!

We will kick the afternoon off with a 1-hour Ladies Latin Styling Master Class taught by Christine. This will include some hot open formation choreography to do some serious work on your latin technique and styling, and to just have some fun dancing for ourselves – ladies only! Following the class all are invited to enjoy a glass of wine or beer and shop for some ballroom attire.

SUNDAY, MAY 29th. 4:00pm – 5:30pm.

Cost is $20 per person and includes 1-hour master class, glass of wine or beer, and consignment sale.

Anyone may bring costumes, practice clothes, dance shoes, and accessories that they wish to sell. If you are selling something, please arrive 10 minutes early so we can put your goods on display. Cash, check and credit cards will be accepted at the sale. (We charge no fee to consign your clothes, but if credit card payment system is utilized for a sale, we will charge a 3% fee for this – for the consignment sale only, does not apply to entry fees).
