New dancers are welcome to join – our audition class is open to the public, drop-in and see what it’s all about. $20 audition fee for the class. You may attend either Saturday or Sunday, do not need to attend both days.
No ballroom experience is necessary, but previous dance training of any style is recommended.
We will prepare a dance for local performance opportunities, our Fall Showcase event November 2026, and to compete at ballroom competitions TBD.
Practices held every Sunday @4PM, and include technique work and drills on top of learning and perfecting the show choreography. Dance styles covered include Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Swing, Salsa & More.

What to wear? Dance practice or workout clothes, ballroom or Latin shoes, jazz sneakers, jazz shoes, or soft-soled shoes with a smooth bottom.
What will class look like? All dancers will participate in short warm-up and learn a short Cha Cha and Rumba combination including coaching on technique and styling. Dancers will be split into random groups to perform twice, six at a time.
Results? Results will be announced by 6:00PM Sunday, August 30 via text or message.
Dancers will be divided into 2 – 3 groups, to be determined by the director.
